MovieSanjay Dutt preferred to do all the stunts himself and asked the producers of the movie to not hire any body doubles.While filming for an action scene, Dutt suffered from some critical injury on his leg but given his tight schedule, urged the staff to carry on. The movie was shot extensively in "Hyderabad" and "Chennai". Sanjay Dutt had to compromise with his routine timing because of dual projects; the other one being Rajkumar Hirani's P.K.. Sunil Grover was chosen to play the role of villain in the movie who had done roles in films earlier but this is his 1st full-length role.There was a dilemma over scheduling after sentencing of Sanjay Dutt, but he chose to continue the shoot so that would not affect the release date since 95% of the shoot was already finish.
